BA. Tango Evolution 2024 - Registration Update!
Dear Tangueros,
We are absolutely thrilled with the huge support and enthusiasm for our BA. Tango Evolution!
This popularity means that both the 2024 programmes are already fully booked. We understand that this means some tangueros might have missed the chance to attend next year. If you couldn't register on time or were unable to secure a place, we kindly request you to get in touch with us at batangoevolution@gmail.com.

We are so so happy with the group that has signed up -- with many participants who were scheduled to come in March 2020 which was cancelled last minute when the pandemic hit, and many returning participants and some participants joining us for the first time!

All of the details for our 2023 programs are updated on this website. We are opening registration in tiers, giving priority to those who were a part of the groups canceled due to the pandemic, etc. We will be opening registration to the public on August 1, 2022!

Online Technique Labs with Sebastian Arrua
Our first online tango Technique Lab with Sebastian Arrua on November 21 was a great success! It was wonderful to reconnect with and meet past and future BA. Tango Evolution participants online, since we can't meet in Buenos Aires in person during this time. We will be holding approximately monthly online Technique Labs - open to everyone to get a taste of our intensive training and to meet us. Visit our Facebook page for upcoming events!

Covid-19 Status
We do not currently have any future program dates scheduled due to the uncertainty around Covid-19. We are very saddened by the many effects of the pandemic all over the world, including on the livelihoods of tango dancers, teachers, and organizers. We deeply hope to be able to offer programs again soon, when it is possible and safe to do so. The safety of our participants and our team in Buenos Aires will always be our first concern.

We have our fingers crossed that we will be able to offer programs in 2020 or if not then in early 2021, especially as we feel that dance and connection will be even more needed by that time. Sign up here to receive notification when we announce future program dates.

We're moving!
Mundo Bolivar, the venue where we have hosted BA. Tango Evolution for the past two years, has been recently sold. While we will miss our wonderful hosts at Mundo Bolivar and the beautiful accommodation that it provided, this will be an opportunity for BA. Tango Evolution to evolve (excuse the pun!)

In 2018, our accommodation will be at the lovely tango guest house Luna Lila. Luna Lila is located in the neighborhood of Palermo, a chic and fun neighborhood with tree-lined streets, many shops, restaurants and bars, and close to many of our favorite milongas. Luna Lila has a gorgeous, spacious dance studio with hardwood floors located in the building, where all of our classes and prácticas will be held, making for a convenient and comfortable stay. It also has a rooftop terrace for relaxing during the day or enjoying a class of Malbec in the evening after classes!

Recently renovated, the owner of Luna Lila, Ricarda, has taken care in creating a beautiful space for all of us to enjoy. The building contains many apartments, with 1-3 rooms. Most rooms have a private bathroom (a couple apartments share one bathroom between two rooms). Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, dining/living area and private balcony or patio. Announcing 2018 Dates!
March 18-28: Tango Essence
March 29-April 8: Vals & Milonga
Tango Essence is our signature course focusing on the essential concepts and qualities of tango as it is danced in Buenos Aires. For the first time we will offer the Vals & Milonga course that will focus on these two rhythms, as well as tango, of course. Option is open to attend either one or both courses as long as spots last!

Announcing 2017 trips!
This is will be our third annual program, and we are growing! For the first time we will offer two trips, Level 1 and Level 2. Level 1 is for those who have recently begun dancing tango or do not yet feel confident on the social dance floor. Level 2 is for those who have a strong basis in social tango dancing and are ready to take their dancing to the next step. Both programs feature our signature training program with professional dancers!
